A local family have come to our attention. Despite a mothers commitment to working ill health and other struggles, means making ends meet is a real struggle. Three children last year celebrated Christmas with with very little at all. This year without your support the story will be the same. Imagine having to give your child a candy cane on Christmas day as their gift.

A small donation to this fund would take the pressure of a hard working mum and allow a family to enjoy something that many of us take for granted. Many of you have offered items which have been gratefully accepted but for these of you who would like to offer cash we will be very grateful of this. It will be used to purchase shopping vouchers to help support the family throughout the year as well as some luxuries over Christmas. We understand this is an expensive time for everybody and appreciate every donation no matter how small. Recently a donation of new socks was made to the family and the children were so pleased. This should give you an idea of the struggle the family is facing.
