Story
Any donations gratefully welcomed :)
Malachi was born a cuddly and healthy puppy with an exemplary pedigree. A wonderful and active future lay before him... until, one day, when he was just 3 weeks old, his chances of that were wiped out by one single mistake. A human accidentally stepped on him while he was still a tiny bundle of fur. The damage done was irreparable.
Yet, despite all the odds, Malachi showed an infectious zest for life. He has great difficulty walking without stumbling and falling and, as a result, is hurting himself often. But instead of giving in to his fate, this little boy, who is now 14 months old, is still trying his level best to play and run with his brothers and sisters, regardless of his disabilities.
Perhaps this little guy’s fan club’s best wishes have been working their magic and Malachi has now been offered a referral to Noel Fitzpatrick, of TV fame as the Supervet, for diagnostic scans to establish if any surgery could seriously improve his mobility. Obviously, Pet Insurance has not been an option and the diagnostic scans and consultation with Noel will cost £1,800. We are really, really hoping that you can help raise the cost for this by donating on his Crowd Funding page. All donations (and maybe even any excess?) will be paid direct to Noel Fitzpatrick’s Clinic into the Malachi Fund.
Thank you for reading this and we will post updates of Malachi’s story as soon as we have any.
