I've raised £1000 to help Animal Aid Unlimited in Udaipur, and the the VIKAS project - an education, medical, housing and food programme in Pushkar, Rajasthan.

In March 2019, my mother and i went to India together.
Fist we travelled to Animal Aid Unlimited and it was amazing.
Animal Aid Unlimited saves animals through street animal rescue, spay/neuter and education. Everyday new animals were brought in that had been hit by bikes, trains cars and trucks. Often new born puppies or calves would be there because their mothers had been run over. .We sat and bottle fed calves, sheered sheep and helped paralysed dogs to swim in a hydrotherapy pool . I had never been anywhere like it.
We then travelled by train to Pushkar to visit TOLFA (the animal charity my mum is working with) and see a close friend, Happy, who is a rickshaw driver.
Happy asked us to join him on the school run with him - he is a lovely rickshaw driver who volunteers to drop off and collect the school children who are not able to get to school every day. We went at 8am on a rickshaw that seated 15 and it was amazing!
All the school children were hugging me and giving me so much love - they clearly don't have enough people to visit them and tell them how amazing they are. The children aged between 4 and 15 years old, are all in extreme need of help but are so positive, kind and intelligent. We went into the school too. It was set up by an American man named Brett 4 years ago, and although he has put all of his own money into it, the school now needs more to continue..

Most of the children live in tents in the desert and some don't know how old they are. We gave some money for food that will only last for one month. Below is a photo of the children holding the food.
Both these experiences were life changing for me and I would like to do what I can to raise funds to help them.
Anything you can donate I and they would be extremely grateful for.
