Story
I have been selected to be part of the Holyrood Secondary School Malawi Team 2017, which is an amazing opportunity and great honour. As part of this project, we have to fundraise £1,900 to contribute to our own travel, accommodation costs and building materials that we will need to carry out our work there.
In June 2017, I will be part of a team of 36 pupils and staff who will travel to Malawi. Our team will be working to help build, renovate and paint classrooms.
The Malawi project is such a special and important project, it is a project with a great history of helping many poverty stricken people, especially the children who want nothing more than to have an education and receive a meal each day. It reminds us that we should never take our lives for granted and we should do everything we can to help the less fortunate.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
