Story
We are a college team of 16 pupils. Our mission is to support the fight against rhino poaching.
In the last 10 years the number of rhinos slaughtered has increased by 9,000% In 2007 the number was just 13. In 2016 the number had increased to 1,175. We want to fix this.
In the summer of 2018 we are traveling to South Africa to volunteer at a rhino sanctuary. We will be co-operating with Helping Rhinos https://www.helpingrhinos.org The support we offer will be in helping to care for the rhinos that have been victims of poaching and survived, as well as raising the orphaned calfs.
Before we depart, we have planned multiple fundraising events, within and outside the college: A 10km run over the malvern hills dressed as rhinos. Busking in the town and around college. Animal themed bake sale. And many more!
We also believe that raising awareness of the devastating actions taking place in South Africa is also a very powerful tool. Therefore every member of the group is doing what they can to a make people known to our mission.
100% of the donations we receive go directly to the cause. helping rhinos. We really appreciate your donations! Thank you from All the Rhino team at Malvern. To get in touch email malcolrhinoexpedition@gmail.com
