I have been a Scout since I was 7, starting as a Beaver and has progressed through the ranks and am Know an Explorer Scout and a Young Leader. I recently won a place at the 24th World Scout Jamboree. This will be a trip of a lifetime for me and and it will be a great Honour to represent my Unit and the UK at this Jamboree so I would dearly love to go.

Raising the funds is a monumental task so all Donations would greatly received.To date I have been selling at Car Boot, stalls at Christmas fayres, Bag Packing, Coin Collecting and have hosted a Film Afternoon. I also helped my local lions Club run a Santas’ Grotto for a sponsorship donation.

The World Scout Jamboree is a huge scouting event that happens once every 4 years in a different country. It is attended by 50,000+ Scouts from over 200 countries. The Jamboree will take place at Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve, West Virginia, USA, hosted by the Boy Scouts of America, Scouts Canada, and the Scout Association of Mexico, and take place 22nd July- 2nd August 2019.

Some of the Funds raised for the Jamboree will also be used to help fund Scouts around the World.
