Hi there!

Thanks for visiting my page! So, I will be running the Malibu half marathon on Sunday 3rd November 2019. This was another one of my 'sure, why not' moments...I'm good at those! But then I realised (or realized if you're reading this from the States!) that this was another great opportunity to raise money for someone very special to me, and everyone that is lucky enough to know her.

If you don't already know, our lovely Lorraine, Lady D, Pink Lady - is going through an extremely tough time in her life. After battling cancer once before and getting her life back to normal, Lorraine was diagnosed with cancer a second time...this time it was more aggressive and unfortunately had spread to the liver, lungs and lymph nodes. No one in this world deserves to go through cancer, but especially not someone as kind-hearted, selfless and thoughtful as Lorraine. If you are lucky enough to know Lorraine, you will know what an inspiration she is to everyone, and what an amazingly positive and infectious energy she has, even while battling through this.

Lorraine is unfortunately unable to work and therefore I would really like to help in anyway that I can to ensure Lorraine and her wonderful family are as stress-free and comfortable as possible during this hard time. Any money that I raise will go towards additional medications that Lorraine has been taking (and it has proven to be doing something!) alongside her intense Chemotherapy.

Cancer affects us all in one way or another, so please dig deep - any donation, big or small, is so welcomed and so appreciated. I am by no means a runner so this is going to be very challenging for me, but a challenge that I am ready to take on - and I guess it helps that I will be running along the coast of beautiful Malibu!
