Welcome to our 20 FOR THE 20 CHALLENGE for 2025!

On Saturday 3rd May, we're walking 20km for the 20% of mums who experience mental health conditions perinatally.

Help Mamas Matter CIC to keep us providing free support for that 20% of mums in our local area by getting us to our £2500 target!!

Use this page to dig deep and donate generously to your friends and family who are walking with us. Those messages of support will really spur us on when those kilometres start to add up and our feet get sore on the day.

Mamas Matter CIC is a local non-profit based in Ripon, Knaresborough, Boroughbridge , Nidderdale, Harrogate and surrounding areas. We support maternal mental health and wellbeing through our three key free offerings; Mama & Me mindfulness classes, Mamas Move exercise classes and Mamas Meet-Ups drop in sessions.

To make sure our service is ALWAYS FREE to access and to help Mamas Matter thrive and grow, we have set an ambitious a fundraising target of £2500 and we need you to help us reach it.

The mums in our Mamas Matter community are nothing short of amazing. THEY are what really makes Mamas Matter groups and classes the warm, welcoming and safe places that they are. What's more, all our staff, leaders and volunteers are peers who have experience of maternal mental health challenges. Together, we make sure our groups and classes are a place where mums are nurtured and supported and can begin to heal from any mental health struggles they might experience, allowing them to thrive.
