We’re aiming to raise £3,000 for Simon Hughes to run the New York Marathon on Sunday 6th November in aid of the Manav Mandir Ashram Orphanage in New Delhi, which provides a home for destitute children.

Your donation will go towards educating the 36 children and young adults homed there. Our aim is to improve the future livelihoods of these children and young adults by funding their education. They are bright and motivated, and have the determination to do well at school given the right opportunities.

Sushant and Gagan have already proven this. Sushant, who graduated from the University of Delhi with a History degree, is currently preparing to take the exams for a highly sought-after role in the Indian Administrative Service. Gagan, who is studying for his B. Tech in Computer Science is due to graduate in 2017 and plans to become a developer. We are extremely proud of their achievements and with your donations hope to see many more children from the orphanage realise their aspirations.
