I've raised £170000 to give to Manchester's Police, Health & Council Services seeing as our Government has failed this wonderful city

Yet again our government has done what it seems to be best at, letting people down. This time, the £17 million in funding promised to the City of Manchester following the devastating and cowardly attack earlier this year.
It's understood so far that Greater Manchester Police is facing a bill of around £9 million - including the cost of bringing in emergency help from other forces.
Support provided by health and council services, such as counselling for people caught up in the blast, has left a further £8 million black hole.

I for one, am fed up and watching the government stand by and do nothing. Let's show just how many good people are out there and are willing to contribute to the fantastic men and women who have provided support and assistance to so many through such a dark time.
Ideally I would like to raise the entire £17 million, but I appreciate that might be a little ambitious, so we're starting small.
Let's use the power of social media to spread the word far and wide. Even if you are unable to contribute, please share this page so that it can reach someone who might.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this. Let's see where we go....
