Story
I have been stupid enough to sign up for a virtual Lands End to John O'Groats walk (874 miles), so thought I might try and invite sponsorship for my efforts, to encourage me to keep going! I am asking for sponsorship to be divided equally between 3 local charities: Samaritans of Horsham & Crawley, Horsham Matters, and London Rd Methodist Church, Horsham. I have until October 2021 to complete the task.

3 years agoI have finally finished the challenge! I passed the 874 mile mark earlier today, April 30th. Thank you, everyone, for your support. So far, the 3 charities have received £490 each, thanks to your generosity. There may be a bit more to come ...

3 years agoWow! I have just passed the 805-mile mark, so less than 70 miles to go - Phew! I am now very much looking forward to finishing - hopefully within the next 3 weeks or so. This donations page will be open until early June, so, if you haven't already, please take the opportunity to donate, before it's too late! And I am so grateful to all those who have given. It has really kept me going - thank you!
