Story

In May and June of 2018 Aidan and Matthew received catastrophic near fatal brain injuries, and to this day they still struggle with life long effects physically, mentally and emotionally.

This, along with the huge daily impacts on their families lives, is why Louise and Maxine set up After Matters in the hope that others dealing with the effects of any form of brain injury, can seek the help and support so desperately needed.

That all being said, Aidan, Louise along with other members of Louise and Aidan’s family, plan to walk The Yorkshire Three Peaks on Saturday 21st May, in the hope to raise not only vital funds to help sustain this amazing Charity, but to also continue to spread awareness and ensure people far and wide know about ‘After Matters!’

For Aidan this is an amazing physical feat, as in the many days, weeks and months following, we didn’t know if he would walk again, let alone even consider the rugged hilly terrain and 24 miles that is this challenge!

We know the current climate economically is so very hard for people, so genuinely anything that you think you could spare towards this amazing cause would be very gratefully and thankfully received.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read our story 🫶🏻💜💚
