We are Hennigan Irish Dance - a small Irish Dance school based in locations across Hertfordshire, Essex and Norfolk. The principle teacher is Mandy Hennigan who has over 25 years experience and she is supported by brother Sean Hennigan .

Our dancers are taking part in a SPONSORED SKIP TO BELFAST - 407 MILES from our base class to the Waterfront in Belfast - ()venue for 2022 World Championships) .Lead by our five World qualifiers for this year , our class will be skipping from 21st-26th March and are hopeful of raising lots of money.

The class maybe small but we are very proud to have produced many champions both regional and national and in 2022 have 5 dancers - Lucy Shilling , Erin Grace Cooke , Abi Bunn, Lauren Gallagher and Emily Rose Hourihan... representing the Southern Region and Midlands region of England at The CLRG World championships held in Belfast in April .

In 2023 The World Championships are taking place in Montreal and we hope to have even more dancers qualifying to compete there too .

With two years of class disruption , the cancellation of our School Feis , and many months of dancing at home via zoom .... covid has had a huge impact on our dance school especially the fundraising which is vital for us to be able to continue running high quality classes and events for all our dancers ..... so we all have a lot of work to do in order to also support both dancers and teachers at both the World Championships 2022 and 2023.
