As many people are aware, Axel went missing on 10th January from Rother Valley Country Park. He was a gentle and much loved family pet. Despite extensive search efforts by his family, friends and members of the public Axel remained missing until the 18th January. Tragically he was found deceased.
There have been many requests to start fundraising for a suitable memorial for Axel including a bench where his owner Dawn can visit but other suggestions are very welcome. We would also like to raise funds to cover the costs of a post mortem and an investigation into the cause of his tragic death.
Axel has touched the hearts of so many people and we hope that your generosity will help Dawn and her family during this very difficult time.
