Kate’s Home Nursing is a local charity, employing the services of registered nurses to care for people in their own homes through the last stage of illness, offering support and care for the patient, their family and carers. In addition to nursing, they offer respite care, bereavement support and some holistic therapy.

They work very closely with the District Nursing Service, local GPs and other multi-disciplinary teams to provide their nursing service for our local community.

On 10th September 2021 our all-rounder, Sam Keen, will be attempting to complete a Double Ironman Triathlon.

This consists of a:
- 4.8 mile lake swim
- 231 mile hilly cycle
- 52.4 mile run

We are raising funds for the cricket club but also a local charity that is very close to our hearts having looked after one of our longest standing members in the last few months of his life.

As well as the event, we will be running a few smaller fundraisers to boost the total.
