The Manna House Counselling Service (run by my dad, John Nightingale) is a local charity that has consistently delivered FREE counselling support to the Northamptonshire community since 1985.

Each year, government funding and sponsorship is cut. Half of the trained counsellors work purely on a voluntary basis, and with the average total cost of counselling per client at £315, this means that EVERY single penny counts towards keeping the FREE service up and running.

Speaking of 'running', I decided to raise money for the cause by running The Great Wall of China Marathon in May - maybe not the BEST location for my 1st ever marathon seeing as it's pretty much all uphill in the 25+ degree, humid heat - but hey, I like a challenge!

I am reaching out to YOU, my friends, friends of friends, family and colleagues, to help me reach my target of £2500. Your donation will support and fund counsellor training courses, increasing the number of trained counsellors to keep up with the growing client base and forever decreasing statutory funding.
