Homelessness is still a major problem throughout the country, its not something we can solve on our own but hopefully if we come together we can make a difference. Mansfield Soup Kitchen is a volunteer based organisation where people give their time to provide good food for the homeless community of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, we operate on a Wednesday evening and cook anything from stew, pie and mash, fajitas, chow mein, spaghetti bolognese, lasagne, full english breakfast etc as well as having a few local takeaways on board that donate chippy teas, curry nights, pizzas etc, after all who doesnt love a good takeaway, just because someone is homeless doesnt mean they dont have the same cravings for something a bit naughty. We also give out sleeping bags, tents, toiletries, hand warmers, clothes, food parcels etc, anything we can do to help we will give it a go. We run 100% on donations and fundraising, any help you can give could literally save someones life.
