Story
Here at The Nikki Penny Physiotherapy Clinic we work with an amazing group of people who would like to help raise money to help buy The LiteGait 500e Walking Aid.
This piece of equipment can bring someone from sitting in a wheelchair to a full standing position over a treadmill. The LG 500e model provides postural stability and bio-mechanically appropriate posture within a partial weight bearing environment.
In short it can get people who can't stand, up and standing and even walking. It can give patients that find walking difficult, the safety net to work on their form and speed.
Following successful trials with the LiteGait 500e the Clinic would now like to make it accessible to all their patients with no extra costs. The patients at the Clinic, many living with neurological conditions, thought it would be fun to help raise money towards this initiative by doing group marathons, in under WORLD RECORD time (2hours 1minit 39seconds)!
There will also be a LiteGait 500e at the event enable anyone to get involved with the fundraiser.
