Help Us Save Lives at Marble Hill -Fund an Accessible Defibrillator at the Park Café
🫀 Why We Need Your Help
Marble Hill is more than just a park. It’s the heart of our community.
Whether you're here for your morning coffee, a family picnic, a dog walk, a school trip, or just a quiet moment under the trees- *Marble Hill belongs to all of us*. It’s where we connect, celebrate, exercise, reflect, and recharge.
Now, it’s time to give something back that could **save a life**.
We’re raising funds to install a **publicly accessible defibrillator and secure casing at the Marble Hill Café**, right at the centre of this much-loved space.
🚑 Every Minute Matters
Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere- at any time. When it does, every minute without a defibrillator reduces the chance of survival by 10%.
An accessible defibrillator at the café- one of the park’s busiest and most central locations- would mean help is never far away. Whether it’s a jogger in distress, a grandparent out for a stroll, or a child in need, your donation could be the difference between life and death.
🏛️ About Marble Hill
The historic Marble Hill House and its surrounding parklands have served this community for generations. Managed by English Heritage and supported by the Friends of Marble Hill, the park is a vital green space for health, heritage, and happiness in our part of London.
With thousands of visitors each week, this beautiful landscape is not just a historic treasure – it’s a living, breathing part of our everyday lives. Let’s ensure it’s also a place of safety.
💚 How You Can Help
We’re aiming to raise **£1,500** to cover the cost of:
* installation of a fully automatic, public-access defibrillator
* Weatherproof and vandal-resistant external cabinet with 24/7 access
* maintenance costs
* Training and awareness materials for café staff and volunteers
Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to making Marble Hill even safer for everyone who loves it.
✨ Let’s Do This Together
If you’ve ever enjoyed a cup of tea under the trees, listened to the dawn chorus, let your kids run wild on the grass, or simply felt your shoulders drop as you stepped through the gates – this is your moment to give back.
**Please donate today and help us protect the heart of Marble Hill – in every sense.**
❤️ With thanks,
*The Friends of Marble Hill*
