Story
We have raised funds for the construction of the Mountsorrel and Rothley Community Heritage Centre but we still need funds to cover the internal fit out of the Heritage Centre. We are hoping to raise a further £5000 from sponsor a brick and public donations. Any amount large or small is greatly appreciated. We have come so far on this epic journey already and in only a few months time the site will hopefully be open to the public for everyone to enjoy.

9 years agoGreat effort has been taken to make both the environment and the displays as accessible as possible. Each display board will feature two barcodes. One, for the visually impaired, will allow you to listen to the board on your mobile or tablet. The second is for children 4 to 10.

And two more 'bricks' to remember my mother, Betty Armour, and father, Frank Armour. (Barry, can you explain how you propose to support people who are visually impaired on the Heritage Centre site?)

As the Heritage Centre opening approaches this would be a good time to purchase two 'bricks' to remember my mother, Betty Law, and my father, Keith Law, who would have loved what has been achieved.

Mountsorrel, United Kingdom
I have been closely following the Mountsorrel & Rothley Heritage Centre project since January 2015. Their dedicated volunteers are amazing, turning out in all weathers to help keep this project on track. As a result the progress is staggering, creating so much for so little money
