Since the Russian invasion of the Ukraine, the conflict has become a bloody war of attrition that could last for many years.

The people of Ukraine are fighting heroically and we must do all we can to enable them to prevail. However a major risk is that it will fall from a priority in our 'western' minds as other more pressing matters occur in our lives.

Whilst people in the UK have been extremely generous in their support for Ukranian aid, this isn’t a sustainable way for publicly funding medical, humanitarian and military supplies longer term.

Which is why we have launched the Ukranian Freedom Company Ltd as a commercial enterprise, whose purpose is to generate and raise funds that will enable us to supply high-end medical, humanitarian and military supplies to Ukraine for the duration of the conflict and aid in its reconstruction.

The Directors of the Ukranian Freedom Company are former members of the British Army, who have a broad range and long experience in corporate governance, finance and establishing and running not for profit companies..

We have strong, sustaining partnerships with World Extreme Medicine who since March have delivered over £1.2m of military medical supplies to field hospitals and a high level trauma medic training team who are passing on their knowledge and know-how to UKR armed forces.

We also work closely with Stepan Skobenyuk, who provides us with a real time understanding of the situation on the ground, advice on what is required and the means to deliver medical and military supplies to where its needed within the Ukraine. Stepan runs a Ukranian Public Company and also works closely with World Extreme Medicine.

There is a continuing and urgent need for para-medic supplies and military supplies for those Ukrainian fighting for their country. Which is why we will:

Purchase a dedicated, long-wheelbase, high aspect 'Sprinter' Van. We have already raised £9,000 and looking for further contributions - minimum contribution £500 with a target of £12k.

To raise ongoing funds for the purchase of supplies, to include military uniforms, boots, ballistic helmets, combat vests, body armour, knee pads, combat gloves, tactical goggles, water bottles, socks, optics, etc. Para-Medic medical supplies and other kit as required.

The plan is to run a supply mission to the Polish/Ukranian border every six weeks.

Alongside this, we will be coordinated a fundraising campaign and trading activities and establishing a network, throughout the UK of former military members and their families contributing funding for supplies for shipment to Ukraine.

We are looking to develop small volunteer teams, each comprising four members, from around the UK who are willing and able to take a week out driving the supplies to the Polish/Ukranian border.
