Story
Here at Colvend Golf Club on the Solway coast, we are really missing our visitors, both regulars and first timers. We are only a small club, owned and run by the members, but with big ideas when it comes to hospitality and ensuring your enjoyment of our golfing experience. Those of you who have played our spectacular course will know only too well just how important visitors are to us.
Spring is normally our busiest time for society groups, families or casual holiday walk-ins and this year, there have, of course, been NONE. And to add insult to injury, April and May have so far produced perfect golfing weather throughout. With little prospect of many visitors throughout the rest of the year as well, a vital income stream has simply disappeared, so we’re asking for your help in these difficult times.
We’ve all been working hard on essential maintenance to keep the course playable and we’d like to be here for you when circumstances eventually change and you can visit us again. In the meantime, any donation you can make to help us get through this uniquely challenging situation will be most welcome and very gratefully received.
Stay safe, swing slow, and with your help we’ll get through it. Thanks so much for anything you can do.
