I'm raising £1,000 towards a total of £15k to install an electrically operated sun shade at the back of the Barton Recreation Ground pavilion, near Cambridge.

The Bowls Club meets regularly on the green overlooked by the pavilion, and there is no shade whatsoever. With rising climate heat it is a matter of H&S to protect our members and visitingvteams from the heat of the sun - most players are over 70.
