What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
Margaret Flemming was murdered by her carers between December 18, 1999 and January 5, 2000. Despite failure by the system to safeguard her, those who knew her wish to produce a suitable memorial in her name; a memorial plaque, bench or garden that could benefit young people and adults in the Port Glasgow area where Margaret grew up. Ideally a community garden, in the colours of Margaret’s old school where she was happiest - Slaemuir - would be really fitting.

6 months agoThe response so far has been great. Thanks guys. But please, keep sharing. The general consensus is that we’d like to make a memorial garden, using the colours of Slaemuir primary (purple & green) so every penny will help.
