Last year, the Thanet community came together to help Margate decorate the traditional Christmas tree which always stands in the centre of Cecil Square. 🎅🤶

☃️ With the input and support of the amazing community and local businesses such as Off The Hook Productions, Falcon Electrical & Security Limited, DAM High Access, Goodwins Power Tools Margate, and CommunityAd Web Ltd it became a heartwarming event to remember.

Unfortunately, this year there is currently no tree to decorate. We need approximately £2000 to get a large christmas tree (around £1000) and have it erected following health and safety standards, and to hopefully get enough lights (£500) and decorations sorted (£500 including operational machine costs).

Cecil square has never been without a Christmas tree. Please donate any amount whether big or small so we can keep the tradition going and all enjoy the festive spirit which Christmas brings.
