Hi, my son Lee has a muscle waisting disease that slowly since he was born 15 yrs ago been taking his mobility from him, he started struggling to walk at 4 yrs old and falling a lot from 6yrs old and finally took his ability to walk from him at 11yrs old and now he relies on a electric wheelchair and the disease is effecting his upper body now so he's struggling to do quite a lot for himself he can just about feed himself at the moment.
My dad found out about a Powerchair football team in Norwich near to were we live and Lee absolutely loves it as it's something we never thought he could take part in, his little face just lights up and I can tell he forgets he's different for them 2hrs he's there it's so heart warming for us as a family to watch.
Lee needs a Powerchair suitable for him as it needs to support him correctly as the one he uses at the min is a loan one and hurts him after a short time in it.
