The centre and land Bhante purchased for Triratna in Bodhgaya are in very poor shape compared to our centres elsewhere. One of the major issues appeared to be fundraising to help get it self sustainable through building appropriate facilities to run retreats/rent out to others running retreats.
I've opened a just giving page and asked for a Dana bowl at the funeral to support the place where Bhante chose to further his work in India. Then we can support the poorest of our Triratna communities and make a huge difference in the Indian centre of our Buddhist world.l feel it is a good way of demonstrating how we can support Bhante's legacy and his vision.
