Story
Matumaini School in Dar es Salaam is a primary boarding school in Tanzania for children who live with disabilities of different sorts, and is run by the Salvation Army. Nearly 200 children attend the school from communities all over Tanzania. As well as education, Matumaini offers students opportunities for general welfare and a life of hope that would otherwise simply not be available to them. Check out their FaceBook page for more information and to see some truly inspiring stories.
They need money to continue this absolutely vital work and I hope to raise £1000 by playing the piano non-stop for 12 hours on Saturday 30th June. Come and join us for the finale: an hour of community hymn-singing, 11 am-12 noon.
