For the 2016 madness of taking part in an Adventure Race I am joining ''Team DK'' on Saturday 12th November in Westport, Co.Mayo to complete a 30km run/bike race which includes a hike up Croagh Patrick mountain!!
We will be raising funds for two charities - (hence the 'crowdfunding' page) - The Down Syndrome Centre and The John Giles Foundation. Both of these charities are based in Ireland, supporting their local communities and opening up a wealth of opportunities for youngsters to get a better start in life.
