Hello, I'm Robert, a black cat who lives with five other cats on allotments (community gardens) in Birmingham UK.

Four years ago I walked out of my home and got lost. I ended up at the allotments and it was the best thing I ever did.

The humans here are very kind. They feed all of us twice a day, every day. All of us are neutered and chipped. , We all have safe, warm places to sleep. My human helps me with my Twitter page and we tweet every day. @AllotmentCat. If we are not well, they take us to the vet and that's where the problem starts. Vet bills are very expensive and my human worries about how she will manage to pay. She does 'fund-raising' (whatever that is) all the time and someone suggested that she started a Just Giving page.

We would all be so grateful for even the smallest donation. Times are hard and every bit helps.

A big THANK YOU from me, Dorothy Dumpling, Barbara, E,T., Red Fred and Janet. Sadly, another member of our allotment family, Gloria Glover passed away suddenly on September 15th 2021. Gloria is the cat on my left in the photo. We miss her a lot.
