Story
The Outspan Rebels is a team of Visually Impaired skiiers. Along with their guides they are raising funds to allow them to compete in the British Championships in Tignes in April 2019. Skiing for the visually impaired is twice as expensive as each athlete also needs a guide on the slope to ski with. In order to help raise the necessary funds to achieve this the kids (Josh, Charlie and Hester) have choosen to swim, run and cycle the 1220 km’s that it takes to travel to Tignes between them.
The benefits that skiing gives all VI and blind skiers is difficult to explain unless you see it! It gives them self confidence, freedom, challenges and a huge amount of self satisfaction and worth. Anything you can contribute to this cause will be hugely appreciated.
Thank you.
