I am raising money for Just for Women https://justforwomen.org.uk/ who are based in Stanley. They support women who are affected by mental health, poverty & unemployment & domestic abuse. I had counselling there after I left my marriage & a lot of my patients from work have been helped by them also. Stanley is my home - I feel safe & happy here & it's important to me to give something back & help the local community.

So, at the end of July 2025 I'm going to be swimming AROUND Jersey! The swim is about 36 miles (51k) in total, tide-assisted, & takes 10-12 hours on average. It's a solo swim - just me in the water - with a support boat piloted by Jersey Long Distance Swimming Club who also provide an official observer for ratification. Helen Liddle & Roger Davies are my crew. It's under channel swimming rules, so just a normal swimsuit (no wetsuit), swim hat & goggles & I'm not allowed to touch the boat or people at any time during the swim.
