November 2012 we were hit with the shocking news that I was diagnosed with breast cancer at just the age of 34. All sort of things were going through my head but the mains we're 1 why me 2 am I going to die and 3 my 2 beautiful girl how will they cope if I die. Tell my eldest daughter that i have breast cancer was the hardest thing ive ever had to do. Then when she ask are you going to die i felt sick & I felt a black cloud over me . Jan 7th 2013 I had the operation to remove the lump 2 weeks later I was told there was more white cells so need another operation . A week later I was told I needed another further operation as there was more white cells. After the 4th operation I was told that they couldn't save my breast and that I need to have my breast removed. April 16th I had my breast removed & reconstruction. We had our 1st proper family holiday in the June then as soon I has we came home I started my first course of chemo. I started loosing my hair straight away but that didn't bother me. After the 3rd lot of chemo that's when it started to hit me for 6 but I wasn't going to let it beat me I was rushed into hospital with a infection but still put on a brave face for my kids. 2013 was the worst year for us. 2015 Ian and I tied the knot in sunny Cyprus. When we got home we were hit with the news that Ian dad was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Unfortunately it had spread so much that jan 8th john passed away on ward 12 singleton hospital. John had kept the secret of his cancer as he saw how it effected me as he was with me all the way when I was going through breast cancer and was there when they me it had spread and needed my breast removed. So Ian and I are doing the brave the shave july 15th in memory of John.
