Burrelton & Woodside Senior Club is a well established part of the local community. Every fortnight whatever the weather, over 50 older people meet at Cargill Burrelton Church halls and enjoy a range of speakers, entertainers and activities. For many of the older people who attend, the club provides an opportunity for them to catch up with existing friends and develop new ones.

The Club is entirely led by volunteers who work tirelessly to support older people in the local community. Our experience of working with older people has shown that they are particularly vulnerable to becoming isolated and lonely. This can have a negative impact on health and can leave them prone to feelings of intense loneliness.

We like to give our members a Coach trip in the summer and a Christmas Lunch and party in December and to be able to do this we have to fundraise and for these two events we need to raise £3000.

Perthshire-based charities Highland Perthshire Cycling (HPC) and The Coupar Angus Cycling Hub have joined forces again for 2018 to bring you the 5th annual Belles & Buns. Scotland's only all female road cycling event!

We are delighted to let you know that one of our Lady members is doing the 64 mile cycle ride on Saturday 19th May 2018 through Perthshire and Angus on quiet scenic roads and gentle hills.

This member wishes to do this as a sponsored cycle ride to raise funds for Burrelton & Woodside Senior Club.
