Hello everyone. My name is Marie and in 2016 I suffered a breakdown after a personal attack. I was diagnosed with depression, anxiety, panic attacks and agoraphobia. My home was my haven to my 3 children and I. Without being in work and struggling daily with my mental health, I plunged all my savings into renovating my home.
On 7th April 2018 while sleeping there was an electrical fire in my home and I subsequently had to go to hospital due to smoke inhalation. My kitchen was destroyed and smoke damage destroyed every other items in the rest of my home. I was put in temporary accommodation and I'm still here. My children are split between other family members as all I have is a sofa bed. Unfortunately I didn't have any house insurance so I'm unable to move my family back home as I've no furniture or carpets and other essential things. A few friends have donated things like plates and cooking implements, apart from that we have nothing. Being away from my home is causing my mental health to deteriate. Any help would be greatfull so my children and I can move back home and try rebuild our lives again. I have no other means to buy necessities and I'm stuck in a house that's not my home with no means of getting any other financial help.
