I've raised £1000 to Keep the hospital radio service for Grimsby Town live commentaries.

Update 30/11 - What a fantastic response on the first day, smashing the target in just a few hours, thank you so much. We have increased the target and hopefully we can achieve that and secure the future of this wonderful service for even longer.
Volunteers have been providing an essential service broadcasting live Grimsby Town commentary to patients and staff at the local hospital for over 65 years but this is now in jeopardy if they cannot obtain at least £500 in funding. The current sponsorship is coming to an end and is not being renewed and so money is desperately needed to fund the rental cost of the radio link to the hospital.
The Mariners Trust has stepped in and committed to help raise the money for them and so we asking all supporters to dig deep and contribute what they can to this very worthy cause. The £500 is the minimum needed just to keep them going and if possible we would like to raise more to ensure the service is funded for the foreseeable future.
As well as this crowd funder we will be doing name cards and raffles around the ground on matchdays. Thanks in anticipation.
