I've raised £500 to help provide food, shelter and an education for dozens of orphans in Nepal.

In 2013, joined by her sister Janet, Marion spent two weeks volunteering at an orphanage in Nepal which provides food, shelter and an education to poor, abandoned and orphaned children.
The orphanage is run by Mr and Mrs Kahti who have dedicated their time, money and love for the past 27 years to looking after the Nepali youth. They receive no government funding or support and rely purely on donations.
The April 2015 Earthquake that rocked Nepal did substantial damage to the orphanage facilities which are still affected to this day. One such effect is that for the past few years the orphanage has strived to be as eco-friendly as possible and many of its efforts were damaged or put on hold by the earthquake.
Marion & Janet have continued to support the orphanage since their time spent in Nepal and have sponsored one boy in particular, Rupak through his secondary education.
To celebrate their 35th and 65th birthdays, Simon and Marion would love nothing more than to raise some money to donate to the Nepali orphanage and support them in their efforts to re-build the site facilities and continue to provide a safe and loving environment for these young people.
You can find more information about the orphanage at their website here.
