I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 2 years ago following a stroke. Since then my mental health has taken a downward spiral along with my physical health.The pain and faigue I suffer on a daily basis is often unbearable and ive been in a really dark place for a long time.

I decided the only way to get through this is to raise awareness of the condition and do what I can to support the charities who fund the research. I know it will be really hard to get fit enough to complete the rides but its something I need to do whilst my body will allow it.

I hope to be completing several rides a year and would love nothing more than to complete the rides under my own steam but my body wont allow it. I need to raise £1500 in total so im using £500 I have raised by clearing out and selling stuff at car boot sales. The money is to purchase a suitable electric assisted bike and equipment which will last for many fundraising events to come.

I hope people understand the challenge I am setting myself and support my aim.
