Aldeburgh is fortunate in being one of the seaside towns that has managed to preserve the carnival tradition when so many have been unable to do so.
This year Aldeburgh’s Carnival celebrates its 80th year with many spectacular events in the town on Saturday 17 August, Sunday 18 August and Monday 19 August 2024. Here is the link to the Carnival's website:
