Story

500 miles and 8500m (over 31,000 ft) of climbing. That's how far it is to cycle the full perimeter of Yorkshire. In May, Ilkley CC pals, Rob, Mel, Kev and Mark set off to ride it. In 3 days starting and finishing in Scarborough. They'll cover the North Yorkshire Coastline, The Dales, The Pennines of West Yorkshire, the South Yorkshire Peak District and The North Yorkshire Moors. will be brutal at times. This is an unchartered route and we hope that by riding it and suffering a little, we can raise money for two important charities, LandAid and Alzheimer's Society.

LandAid is a wonderful organisation who aim to stop youth homelessness in the UK. Covid, along with the cost of living crisis, are making to plight of young people facing life on the streets tougher than ever.

The Alzheimer's Society is the UKs leading dementia charity. They campaign for change, fund research to find a cure and support people living with dementia today.

Please donate. We would be very grateful and will split all proceeds raised 50:50 to each charity.
