The girls are going to as a group run/walk the distance between Keynsham and Paris a massive 650 kilometers . Each girl will run/walk at least 5k until they get to 650 kilometers there are about 90 girls ranging from 4 to 13 .They will be raising money for 2 amazing causes the Children's Hospice Southwest who than 25 years have been caring for children with life-threatening conditions by providing children's hospice and professional family support services. They are dedicated to making the most of short and precious lives through the provision of the best possible hospice care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions. The care offered at each of the three hospices is not just about medical and nursing support for sick children but enriching lives of the children and their whole family.

They provide care and support to families living in the South West, who have children with life-limiting conditions. They provide specialist palliative care, respite for the whole family, a sibling service for brothers and sisters, emergency support, end of life care and a bereavement service for as long as is needed.

The other half of the money raised will go yo help in the running of Fry's JFC girls section . We are a newish group that have been goin for just over 3 years now we started with a handful of girls which in a really short time have grown to almost 100 girls training and playing football in Keynsham our aim is to give the girls a friendly and safe place to enjoy playing football making friends learning to work as a team and making other skills that will last a lifetime any money raised will go to getting equipment paying for courses for the volunteers to help develop the girls.
