Story

In memory of my dad, Gordon Irvine, I am going to be cranking the bike pedals from John O'Groats back to Strichen over 3 days. Dad passed away after a short battle with cancer last year. This is a run that dad did back in 1986 to raise money, and I am going to try and replicate it as close as possible.

I am hoping to raise some money for Roxburghe House Hospital, Aberdeen and the Ritchie Hall, Strichen car park resurfacing fund.

The family can't thank Roxburghe House and the staff enough for the kindness shown not only towards dad but to the whole family during our time there. The work these folk do, staff and volunteers, is a huge help for families going through tough times like we experienced.

The Ritchie Hall are currently raising funds to resurface the car park, a big undertaking for a small village hall. Dad being a past committee member and regular user of the Ritchie Hall would have done his bit for this if he had still been with us.

Any donations to these two worthy causes is very much appreciated.
