Story
Mark Katz, global lead of Central Incident Management, has sadly been diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). This is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. As a result of this, Mark can no longer work or return to Credit Suisse.
Mark has been with Credit Suisse for 32 years, performing various leadership roles including Global Service Desk lead and Problem Management lead. In 2007, Mark was tasked to lead the Americas Availability Management team, which has since transformed into Central Incident Management. Mark established and implemented the Major Incident Process we use globally today, and this year was promoted to global lead for Central Incident Management. Mark has garnered great respect across IT globally over the years and has been an integral asset to our Organization. Mark planned to take early retirement next year.
We would like to collect some money to put towards a gift for Mark and his family, to thank him and recognize his outstanding commitment and contribution towards Credit Suisse, and to support his future medical needs. Setting up this page was the easiest way to reach everyone Mark interacted with over the years across the globe.
