I've raised £5000 to NHS Amputation centre in Derby Royal hospital, BLESMA (Limbless Veterans), MH charities and local self funded Kids Football team.

Due to donating to multiple charities we have set this a crowdfunding page again. This event will be on the 21st September 2024.
What makes this special: In 2021 I suffered a life changing accident and in 2022 became a amputee (below knee).
Achieve: I was successful in 2022 climbing Snowdon 3 months post amputation, raising an immense amount of money for charities including: NHS Amputation centre in Derby, BLESMA (Limbless veterans) and MH Charities.
On the 8th March 2024, I under went further surgery to resolve some issues in my stump - bone removal and Nerve Neuroma.
All charities close to my heart and have all supported me in my life changing event, being ex forces BLESMA has supported me in many ways, due to the complexity of the incident and my prior battles. The amputation support team in Derby Royal has been my light and supported me mentally and physically, on my new life journey - more than anyone will know. they are so special and doing this fundraising and awareness doesn't even show them how much I think of them but goes a little way to my gratitude for them.
This challenge will be tough, I plan to take it on, in under the 12 hours projected and ideally doing it in 10 hours.
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge is without a doubt one of the most rewarding challenges in the UK. Starting and ending in Horton-in-Ribblesdale you take in 3 of the best known peaks in Yorkshire; Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m). The aim of the challenge is to walk this 24 mile route within 12 hours!
