I've raised £2000 to to make full face protective shields for frontline staff and carers.

Linda and I are making full eye, nose and mouth protection in the form of clear acetate face shields that are simple to wear and effective.
We can increase production with a good quality cutting machine, and further supplies of acetate film, sticky-backed foam and elastic, the only ingredients beyond our own time.
We’ve all heard about the lack of PPE for NHS staff and carers from the outset of the coronavirus pandemic. The supply line has improved, particularly for those that are right at the front of the battle, but for the care community putting their lives at risk in other situations, protective equipment is still in short supply.
With your help in funding supplies to our home-micro-factory, we can improve the chances of our “customers” avoiding picking up the virus as they devote their time to caring for their patients, whether they are actually or potentially infected.
Linda and I love gardening, but there’s a limit to how much time we want to spend weeding, tickling, tittivating and pressure washing! So we are mixing up our days between our favourite lockdown activity and producing the face shields, which we are giving away to those in urgent need, or selling when stocks allow.
Buyers are also being asked for donations, and any surpluses are to be donated to worthy local Coronavirus appeals.
Thank you!!!
