Story

I will be taking on the challenge of kayaking across the English Channel from Dungeoness to Boulogne with three other fantastic people on the 20th august 2018. The reason we are taking this challenge on is for a very special little girl called Elsie-Rose.

On the 26th September 2014 Elsie-Rose was diagnosed with Type I SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy.) It causes severe muscle weakness, which can result in problems moving, eating, breathing and swallowing.

Unfortunately, due to the high risk of serious respiratory problems, most children with Type I SMA die before they reach one years old.

Despite this Elsie- Rose is now 4 years old and strives to carry on just like any other 4 year old.

The Elsie-Rose and friends foundation has been created to provide help and financial support for families with disabled, sick, and terminally ill Children.

Please donate so we can help provide any equiptment Elsie-Rose may need in the future and give this foundation the funds it needs to support other families in need.

We also have charity pots and sponsor forms in The Dolphin Inn Hastings to help raise as much money as possible.

It is with sincere thanks in advance from myself, and the rest of the team for your generosity and kindness.
