On Boxing day 2018 a supporter collapsed at my local non league game. Being first aid trained I helped along with others in treating the poor gentleman. Its not until your involved in such an incident that you realise just how precious life is, particularly at what should be such a joyful time of the year. Thankfully that supporter survived the ordeal, and following surgery is now on the road to recovery.

I‘ve subsequently decided to do my bit by running the Bosworth Half Marathon on May 12th 2019 for the Congenital Heart charity “Keep The Beat” and my local non league team Hinckley AFC. All monies raised will be split 50/50 between the two.
