Crowdfunding is the new way to raise money for a personal cause on JustGiving.
We are passionate about helping veterans who have lost their way and need help to get their lives back on track. Whether they are suffering from PTSD or their families need support through this period, we are there for them. Sometimes it is just changing something small for the family, which can make all the difference. The lack of having any money to buy a carpet for your childrens bedrooms, or a bed, a cooker. These things matter so much and can affect a person who is suffering PTSD in a massive way. The fact that the family members suffer too is not talked about. Without their help in keeping the family together, many veterans would end up with broken families and left living with nothing and no help. We are there to put the pieces back together for them. No matter what help they need, it can mean so much. PTSD can strike you down at any time of your life. Just having the support of somebody 24/7, no matter how big or small the problem is, we can help save that person's life. We do not open Pandora's Box and throw them back to their families to deal with them, which is what is happening now. That will push anyone over the edge and sometimes causes that person to take their own lives. We are there to help them understand why they are experiencing PTSD and how to come to terms with it. By meeting other like minded individuals and talking about their experiences, through laughter, open space and time, comes healing from within. We are just there to guide you through the process..
