The cats of Kyiv are often abused, poisoned and tortured. Rescues work independently and try to raise small amounts of money to help with microchipping, healthcare, food, accommodation. 'Кото-Ярмарок' are one such organisation, and a highly professional one. They care brilliantly for cats and kittens, fostering and then arranging their 'forever homes'. My favour is to ask for a small donation that will help save a cat or kitten. In Ukraine, often donations go further than in the UK so even £5 would be amazing.
