On Friday 8th September I went to Brighton to visit a friend from London on my beloved scooter. I park my scooter in designated motorbike bays in the kemptown area and have done a number of times.

This time i wasn't so lucky and on Saturday morning I went to drive back to London and my bike had been stolen... I called the police and reported it stolen and took the train back to London feeling empty and really frustrated.

On Monday morning I received an email with some good news, the police had recovered my bike on Saturday early in the evening dumped in Brighton General Hospital car park.

Unfortunately I had to pay £150 for the garage to recover the bike and for the police to do their investigations on it and £10 for a days storage.

Another £75 for a courier to take my bike from Brighton to the motorcycle repair shop where I purchased the bike from.

The garage have given me an estimate of £..... to fix the bike back to its original condition.

Unfortunately my insurance doesn't cover any of these costs at all as I only have 3rd party insurance and not 3rd party fire and theft, meaning that I have to pay for this all myself and hopefully with some generous help :-)

I have never asked for any help before for anything like this, but I am stuck. I can't see another way of resolving this and I am pleading to the good of the people to help. I would appreciate any kind of donation and want to thank everyone in advance.

I really need my bike back as I use it every day. I haven't even started paying back the original loan which I used to purchase the bike just 3 months ago. I use it for work, and to visit friends and family who live 2 hours away by train. With my bike it only takes 45 minutes.

If I was to tell you about all the times I have helped people I would be here for a long time, I am a generous guy and this time I am asking for your generosity.
